Buz’s first Helping Hams for Charity night was a success! A big thanks to everyone who came out to support Hilliard House last Monday. If you haven’t heard yet, Buz is hosting a weekly evening to support community at his Boulevard location. 10% of every order (dine in or carry out) from 6-10pm every Monday will be donated to a different organization. Next up: Art On Wheels!
Founded in early 2007, Art on Wheels brings transformative arts programming to communities with limited access to the arts. Their curriculum includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, photography and more; a first in our region for historically-underserved populations. Recently, they completed the Veterans’ Impact Project; America’s first crowdsourced veterans’ monument. At Dominion Riverrock, veterans hurled mementos from their service into a 3’x15’ clay wall using a Roman siege-style ballista to create the monument.
How can you help this awesome cause? Stop in for dinner our Boulevard location between this Monday night, and Buzwill take care of the rest. 10% of all purchases 6-10pm will be donated to Art On Wheels, and you’ll be one of Buz’s #helpinghams.
