It’s time to lend another Helping Ham to a local business, 97.3 FM WRIR! Buz and Ned’s is the place to be every Monday night for Helping Hams, a weekly charity evening at Buz’s restaurants on Boulevard and Broad Street. Ten percent of every order, dine-in or carry out, from 6 to 10 p.m. every Monday will be donated to a different organization. This week we’re lending a ham to 97.3 FM WRIR.
97.3 FM WRIR is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization that is funded through contributions made by listeners in the community. The Virginia Center for Public Press operates 97.3 FM WRIR and serves the residents of Richmond and its surrounding areas. The station broadcasts news 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It’s operated by more than 200 volunteers, ranging from ages 10 to 70.
It’s time to support a local, non-profit business! Stop by for dinner at our Boulevard and Broad Street locations this Monday night and Buz will take care of the rest. Don’t forget – 10 percent of all purchases made between 6 to 10 p.m. will be donated to 97.3 WRIR with your purchase, you will be one of Buz’s #helpinghams.
