Calling all #helpinghams! It’s time to help out this week’s nonprofit, local organization while getting your grub on. Buz and Ned’s is the place to be every Monday night for Helping Hams, a weekly charity evening at Buz’s restaurants on Boulevard and Broad Street. Ten percent of every order, dine-in or carry out, from 6 to 10 p.m. every Monday will be donated to a different organization. This week we’re helping out Virginia War Memorial Educational Foundation.
The Virginia War Memorial was built in 1955 and dedicated to America’s war heroes on Feb. 29, 1956. Today, the memorial honors the memory of Virginia’s men and women who served our country. The Virginia War Memorial’s education center offers a variety of internal and outreach programs, artifacts, research materials, war documents, seminars, and ceremonies.
Step up and help us support a local nonprofit organization! Stop by for dinner at our Boulevard and Broad Street locations this Monday night, Jan. 5, 2015, and Buz will take care of the rest. Don’t forget – 10 percent of all purchases made between 6 to 10 p.m. will be donated to The Virginia War Memorial with your purchase, you will be one of Buz’s #helpinghams.
