The National Kidney Foundation needs YOU! Yes, you! If you love helping out a good cause and eating, then Buz and Ned’s Real Barbecue is the place to be this Monday night for Helping Hams, a weekly charity evening at Buz’s restaurant on Boulevard. Ten percent of every order, dine-in or carry out, from 6 to 10 p.m. every Monday will be donated to a different organization. This week we’re helping out the National Kidney Foundation.
Ada DeBold and her husband Harry called for a meeting of the Committee for Nephrosis Research in an attempt to save their dying 4-year-old son. During the 1950s, there was no real treatment for the condition. The National Nephrosis Foundation was created and laid the foundation for the National Kidney Foundation in 1964.
It’s time to fight back against kidney disease! Stop in for dinner at our Boulevard location this Monday night and Buz will take care of the rest.
