Who doesn’t love being a Helping Ham? You can get your grub on while helping out a local, nonprofit organization. Buz and Ned’s is the place to be every Monday night for Helping Hams, a weekly charity evening at Buz’s restaurants on Boulevard and Broad Street. Ten percent of every order, dine-in or carry out, from 6 to 10 p.m. every Monday will be donated to a different organization. This week we’re helping out Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity.
Most families have the dream of owning their own home but for some families, that dream may never become a reality. That’s where Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity comes in. The nonprofit organization was founded in 1976 as a non-proselytizing Christian housing ministry. Since its founding, Habit has helped build more than 400,000 homes for 2 million people around the globe. The Richmond chapter joined the rankings in 1986 and has helped build more than 300 homes in the Richmond community.
Step up and help us support a local nonprofit organization! Stop by for dinner at our Boulevard and Broad Street locations this Monday night, December 15 and Buz will take care of the rest. Don’t forget – 10 percent of all purchases made between 6 to 10 p.m. will be donated to Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity with your purchase, you will be one of Buz’s #helpinghams.
