To us, nothing beats supporting a local cause. This week, come get your grub on while supporting a Richmond main staple. Buz and Ned’s Real Barbecue is the place to be this Monday night for Helping Hams, a weekly charity evening at Buz’s restaurant on Boulevard. Ten percent of every order, dine-in or carry out, from 6 to 10 p.m. every Monday will be donated to a different organization. This week we’re helping out Fan Free Clinic.
Fan Free Clinic strives to provide medical treatment, health education and outreach, support services and advocacy for those with limited access to care in the Richmond area. The clinic was formed in 1968 in conjunction with a free university movement. The clinic was established in Richmond’s historic Fan District and two years later, the Fan Free Clinic because the first free clinic in the commonwealth of Virginia.
Show your support for local charities! Stop in for dinner at our Boulevard location this Monday night and Buz will take care of the rest. Don’t forget – 10 percent of all purchases made between 6 to 10 p.m. will be donated to the Fan Free Clinic. With your purchase, you will be one of Buz’s #helpinghams.
