The buz becomes real this Thursday when Spider Talk with Coach Russ Huesman premieres at its new home, Buz & Ned’s Real Barbecue, 8205 West Broad Street.

The popular lunchtime program will be held Thursdays from noon-1pm, hosted by “Voice of the Spiders” Bob Blackand heard live on ESPN Richmond’s 99.5 & 102.7 FM and 950 AM, as well as online at RichmondSpiders.com and espnrichmond.com.   An audio archive of each week’s show is available on the SpiderTV page and in the Audio Vault at espnrichmond.com.

Fans, alums and corporate partners are encouraged to attend the live show at Buz & Ned’s, which will feature Coach Huesman and weekly player guests, as well as game highlights shown on the big screen prior to the show.   Listeners and fans can interact during the show, and anytime, by submitting questions and comments online.

For those attending, be sure to step up to the counter upon arriving to place and pay for your lunch order, then find your seat and table in Buz & Ned’s spacious back room where the show will be held.  Your lunch will be brought directly to you by Buz & Ned’s wait staff, who will also assist with drink refills and other requests.

In addition to its West Broad Street restaurant, the original Buz & Ned’s is located on Arthur Ashe Boulevard in the Fan.  Buz & Ned’s is the official barbecue of the University of Richmond and is available on game days at Robins Stadium.
