“I grew up with the great North American songwriters – Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell – they are all huge influences on me. I started writing songs in college and my lyrics reflect the long road of travels, days and nights on the road performing, raising my family, living in the Middle East for 20 years up close to both deeply painful tragedy and inspiration.
